Zoom In - This tool allows you to use a single click to zoom in by a factor of 2x or draw a marquee so that you can zoom in to the area that you define. Click the left mouse button on the tool to activate it. Then single click on the map to perform a zoom in. The map will zoom in 2x the zoom level that you were at previously. If you click and hold the left mouse button, then drag a rectangle (marquee) and let the mouse button go the map will zoom in to the area that you have defined within the marquee. |

Pan - This tool allows you to move the map by dragging it to a new location. Click the left mouse button on the tool to activate it. Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the map in the direction you want to move. The map will then refresh showing you the location you have moved to. |

Point Selection - This tool is used to select objects on the Search Layer, using a point to define the search region. Click the left mouse button on the tool to activate it. Click the left mouse on an object to retrieve information on that object. |

Information Tool - This tool is used to retrieve information that describes that feature. What the Information Tool can retrieve is limited to the spatial tables. Click the left mouse button on the tool to activate it. Click on, or drag a circle around, the object that you would like to retrieve information for. This tool will return information for all objects in any layers at the point clicked and that are set as selectable in the Layer Control. The information is returned in a pop-up window. |

Print – This tool is used to print out a map of your area showing the geographic extents of your current map view. It will enable you to save your map electronically, or print it out directly as a map. For best results, zoom into a desired area before printing. |

Aerial Photography Slider - The slider allows the aerial photography layer to appear over your map. By clicking on the slider and dragging it either left or right you can increase or decrease the transparency of the aerial photography.
Note: If the slider aerial photography is on, the transparency will not carry through to any maps that you print. |

Information Tool Tip This tool is used to retrieve information from the Information Panel. Simply hover the mouse pointer over the current selection layer object and the relevant information will be displayed in the Info tool tip dialogue. For example in this case the Information Tool tip refers to the Property Information. |

Information Panel This appears only when a Selection is made using the tool.By selecting a property (click on the map using the “Selection Tool”), information that corresponds to that property will come up. By Clicking on the ‘arrows’, either backwards or forwards, you can move through and displaying information. |
